Abstract Submission Guidelines

  • Abstract submission opens on 1st Oct 2025 and closes on 15th Dec 2025.
  • Abstract can only to be submitted after the registration for the conference.
  • Site will stop accepting abstracts after 15th Dec 2025.
  • Abstracts received by email will not be evaluated.
  • The presenting author must submit the abstract themselves after registration for the conference.
  • A presenting author can submit a maximum of 2 abstracts for NZOACON 2026.
  • Decision of abstract evaluation will be communicated via email by 15th Jan 2026.

Abstract Preparation Instructions

  • Language: English, Font: Times New Roman, Size: 12, Double spaced.
  • Do not include identifying details (hospitals, clinics, etc.) in title/text.
  • Do not include author names or affiliations in the abstract body.
  • Abstract must be original and not previously published.
  • Title should be concise, no abbreviations, not in all caps.
  • Max 300 words (excluding title, author info, etc.).
  • Use the following subheadings:
  • 1. Background
    2. Aims & Objectives
    3. Materials & Methods
    4. Results
    5. Conclusions
    6. Conflict of Interest (mandatory)
  • No references, graphs, figures, or tables required.
  • Check spelling and grammar carefully before submitting
  • Submitted Abstracts not following the guidelines will be rejected without prior intimation.

E-Poster Presentation Specifications

General Specifications

  • Display on 42" (diagonal) LCD screen.
  • Format: PowerPoint (.PPT).
  • File size: 10–20 MB.
  • Slides must be in landscape orientation.
  • Only
  • No animations, movies, or sounds. Submit static PPT only.

Design Specifications

  • Each slide must have a title in the title placeholder.
  • Text should include: Introduction, Aim, Methods, Results, Conclusion, and Acknowledgements.
  • Text must be concise, well-organized, and self-explanatory.
  • Suggested font size: 26 - 36 pt. Font: Clear and simple (e.g., Helvetica).
  • If it's clearly visible on your screen, it's good for display.

Color Suggestions

  • Use dark fonts (black, navy, dark green) on light backgrounds.
  • Use light fonts (white, yellow, cyan) on dark backgrounds.
  • Avoid red or green text or backgrounds for readability.

Illustrations/Images

  • Ensure images are large enough to show important details.
